I enjoyed walking around to view the attractive colorful restaurant vibe, and shall return to try some of the other items. The vanilla ice cream was better than the pie. I switched to the apple pie with vanilla ice cream, which was mediocre. The pudding tasted like it was made a couple days ago, and was not served warm as stated. Neither did I like, and had to send back after the first bite. I tried the white chocolate banana bread pudding which came with coconut ice cream. The desserts need some improvement, not their strong suit. The sauce it comes with was not to my liking, so I switched the sauce to the lemon sauce option, which went very well with the dish. The lightly fried catfish entree was very good, served with tasty collard greens and jalapeño cheddar grits. The bar only had a handful of people seated at 4:00 pm. The service was slow, as the bartender was pleasant, however, very slow to check on the food. On my first visit, I sat at the bar to have an early dinner. The decor is a lovely nicely appointed 2-level restaurant and bar, with an upstairs outdoor deck. This location is in an up and coming walkable town center with a few restaurants and upscale condominiums, about 5 minutes from Columbia Mall.
